follow the guidelines below.
- Shake
daily
- Airing
is recommended, but direct sun, exposure to fog or high levels of humidity
should be avoided
- Under
no circumstances should beating or vacuuming be attempted as this will
damage the Feathers and Down, reducing their ability to provide support
and warmth
- Do
strongly recommend that your pillows be commercially laundered as you do
need an extra-capacity washing machine to ensure that the product isn’t
‘crushed’
- The
pillows can be washed at up to 60°C - please observe the washing
instructions given. However, pillows must be left in the dryer until the
filling is completely dry. If other methods of drying are used, for
example line drying, the filling goes lumpy and the pillow is irreversibly
damaged.
- You must use a cover for your pillows to protect them and keep them clean.

Here are
some simple guidelines to follow to care for your milkandhoney bed linen:
- Wash
your milkandhoney bed linen at 40ºC for best results. Strongly
recommend that you use a non-biological detergent containing no optical
whiteners, bleaching agents or enzymes that can cause colours to fade or
create discolouration.
- Dry on a washing line
ideally, however you can use a tumble dryer as long as the setting is not
too hot. Promptly removing the linen out of the tumble dryer when the
cycle has finished will help to reduce creases. Cotton is a natural
material and it will crease a more than synthetic fibres.
- Iron your bed linen with a
hot steam iron whilst it is still slightly damp if possible, this will
help remove any creases. Iron any embroidery on the reverse side or
between two pieces of cloth.
- All Natural Fibre linen will
shrink a little, this is perfectly normal. This shrinkage has been taken
into account in the sizing of milkandhoney products.
- Take care if washing or
drying fabrics at hot temperatures as this can cause additional
shrinkage.
